Residential & Commercial Terms & Payment Conditions

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Payment Terms: A 20% deposit is required before equipment is ordered or work is scheduled. The remaining 80% balance is due immediately upon substantial completion of the installation or service. Deposits may become non-refundable once equipment has been ordered or labor has been scheduled. Additional work equipment, or materials not included in the original estimate will require customer approval and may result in additional charges.

Estimate Validity: Unless otherwise stated, this estimate is valid for 30 days. Pricing and product availability are subject to change until the required deposit has been received.

Installation Warranty: Installation labor performed by Pixel Fixer Security & IT is warrantied for one year from the date of completion. This warranty covers defects directly resulting from the original installation. It does not cover damage or service issues caused by misuse, tampering, accidents, weather, power surges, electrical problems, internet or network changes, construction, pests, third-party modifications, or equipment failure.

Equipment Warranty: Equipment and hardware are covered only by the applicable manufacturer’s warranty for each individual product. Warranty terms and coverage periods vary by manufacturer. Manufacturer warranty claims may require inspection, troubleshooting, removal, shipping, reinstallation, or other labor that is not included unless specifically stated in writing.

Customer Responsibilities: The customer is responsible for providing safe and reasonable access to the property, installation areas, electrical outlets, network equipment, internet service, account credentials, and any other resources necessary to complete the work. Delays or additional visits caused by unavailable access, utilities, credentials, or site conditions may result in additional charges.

Network and Internet Requirements: The performance of cameras, remote-access systems, cloud services, wireless devices, and other connected equipment depends on the customer’s internet service, network coverage, bandwidth, router, firewall, and third-party services. Pixel Fixer Security & IT is not responsible for interruptions or performance issues caused by internet providers, utility outages, cloud platforms, software updates, or third-party equipment.

Data and Security: Customers are responsible for maintaining backups of important data and securely storing usernames, passwords, recovery codes, and administrator credentials. While reasonable precautions will be taken, Pixel Fixer Security & IT is not responsible for data loss, unauthorized access, cyberattacks, or privacy incidents that are outside the direct control of the installation or service performed.

Existing Conditions: Pixel Fixer Security & IT is not responsible for concealed wiring, structural defects, code violations, damaged cabling, electrical issues, network problems, or other pre-existing conditions discovered during installation. Any additional work needed to address these conditions will be discussed with the customer and billed separately.

Ownership and Access: All installed equipment remains the property of Pixel Fixer Security & IT until the invoice has been paid in full. The customer authorizes reasonable access to the property for installation, testing, service, and removal of unpaid equipment where permitted by law.

Cancellations and Scheduling: Appointments may be rescheduled due to weather, equipment availability, unsafe working conditions, or circumstances beyond reasonable control. Customer cancellations or scheduling changes made after equipment has been ordered or labor has been reserved may be subject to restocking, travel, or cancellation charges.

Acceptance: Approval of this estimate, payment of the deposit, or authorization to begin work constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.
